Hack on sound art installations that double as a haunted house. Public reception / gallery opening / haunted house at 9pm. Schedule Noon - 9:00 PM Arrive and start hacking! Lunch will be served. The goal of this 9 hour session is for each person or team to claim a location in Spotify’s cafeteria, stage, kitchen, ping pong area, or terrace and turn it into a spooky sound art installation intended to be experienced as a haunted house. Whether you are a regular at hackathons or a complete newbie - you are welcome! Team up, pick a challenge and solve it in 48 hours using all the superpowers that you acquired so far in your life! You need a laptop and a student ID. We recommend also bringing sleeping bag and toiletiers. This hackathon will be an exhausting 48 hour event and we encourage hackers to make use of the sleeping space that will be provided. Of course, food and bevarages will be of virtually infinite quantities! We will also provide travel reimbursement.

Hack Food Waste is all about creating smart solutions to reduce food waste. The hackathon takes place during the opening of Dutch Design Week, on the 17th and 18th of October. We’re working in interdisciplinary teams consisting of hackers, designers, civil servants, farmers, experts, students, entrepreneurs and involved citizens.
